Bug Description

I was trying to clean up a bit the client code and I found some methods that are no longer at Python's httplib library. Actually the one missing is: httplib.HTTP.getreply()

This is used at the code but is no longer used on the library's current version.

Probably this is because for the tests the developers were using KNOPPIX 5.1 which was based on Debian Etch and there were the old Python library.

I guess it should update the library and methonds and make clear that it need to be used on quite modern system. Another solution is leaving like that but I think is better to move on.
