Error when running make distcheck

Bug Description

When running make distcheck, I have the following error:

  ERROR: files left in build directory after distclean:
  ./po/.intltool-merge-cache.lock

I think it's due to the last commit 748 that creates a new .intltool-merge-cache.lock file which is not removed in the mostlyclean target of Makefile.in.in
