Bug Description

[Summary]The graphics test that rotates the display fails.
In addition, if you go to Settings->Display and try to do this yourself it also fails.

Run CDTS
Select Graphics

or
Settings->Display
Select other orientation for the dislay

[Expected result]
Display should rotate appropriately

[Actual result]
Setting has no effect

Need output from xrandr, Doug please provide.

Please also try running the following command, and see if the screen can rotate:
xrandr --output `xrandr --listactivemonitors | awk '{ print $4 }'` --rotate left

The reason for this bug should be https://bugs.launchpad.net/intel/+bug/1938298, meaning the gpu is not actually being used by i915. A kernel update is needed to remove the force probe protection.

Meanwhile, one can add the kernel option i915.force_probe=0x4571 while booting.

Retested on EHL-Intel board with 20211013 build of Desktop which includes the updated graphics drivers.

Screen rotate works as expected.
