Bug Description
Implement an interactive freehand line smoothing feature similar to the one found in XaraXL using live path effects. This would require implementing path simplification as a LPE, which I believe would make a good feature of it's own. When interactive smoothing would be toggled 'on' the smoothing slider in the freehand toolbar would adjust the simplification threshold for the LPE, an additional 'Freeze' button next to it could apply the path effect permanently, if not used the user can take advantage of adjusting the smoothing at any time using the path effect editor.

Experimental branch (lp:inkscape/experimental) now has the new path effects 'Simplify' (r13354) and 'Roughen' (r13447), contributed by Jabier Arraiza Cenoz.
