Bug Description
I would really like an option in General Preferences or Document Preferences to specify the color of the background for the screen area other than the page. For example, I would like to be able to have the background of the non-work area be a dark color, while leaving the document work area white. This would make extended work sessions with Inkscape a lot easier on the eyes!
