Bug Description

I have Win7 x64, Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886, and I ran into this very annoying bug:
When you export the attached SVG to EPS, the text (here "(aaa)") disappears in the output! (The errenous EPS result is also attached.)
No warning or messages during export, but the text then just missing.
(Export to PNG bitmap works fine.)

After lot's of frustration I found out, that it is related to using clipping on one of the objects.

I think "clipping" is the wrong word in original bug description. If you ungroup all the parts in the SVG file, the export succeeds. So the bug must be somewhere related to that.

The bug in cairo is indeed triggered by clipped object(s): in your example file, the 3 paths are inside a clipped group. Ungrouping the group will also release the clip (the clip-path itselfs remains in the <defs> section but is no longer used for clipping).
