Import Gradient Placement Bug

When importing ps, eps or pdf files with that have gradient fills, the gradients themselves are imported correctly, however the placement of the gradient is always incorrect. The interesting part is that it is shown correctly in the preview. I can provde examples if needed.

Based on my experience I cannot confirm "always" (but there are known and already reported issues, e.g. bug #919176, bug #530895, bug #410846) - could you please attach sample files to further investigate?

I looked through the bugs you linked to. This may be related to #530895, but I can't be certain.

With the provided EPS sample file on OS X 10.7.2:
- reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.2 and 0.48.3.1
- not reproduced with Inkscape 0.48+devel r11064

AFAICT this is a duplicate of bug #530895 "Opening EPS with gradient" which is fixed in current trunk.
