Bug Description
* Inkscape 0.48+devel r11030
* Ubuntu Oneiric [gtk 2.24.6, gtkmm 2.24.2 cairo]
To reproduce:
* Draw a shape
* Click and drag diagonally upwards from the Fill Indicator (as described in "Color Gestures" section in manual[1])
>> Mouse cursor does not always change to the expected "+/-" symbol (i.e. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't)
* Drag clockwise/
>> Fill colour of shape changes as expected
* Release mouse button
>> Gdk-CRITICAL error:

It was already the case in 0.46 and all the following versions. Just noticed that the symbol show when you start dragging vertically, and don't show if you drag horizontally.

Confirmed on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.48.2, 0.48.3-1 and revision 11030.
Not reproduced with 0.48.1.
