Bug Description
Hi,
At work I use 3DVia Composer to see 3D parts and one of its feature is a "Copy as SVG" function. The problem is it creates in the clipboard multiple entries but none of them are used by Inkscape when pasting : Inkscape paste as a bitmap.
Here are the list of all clipboard types viewed with the clipboard viewer of Windows XP (sorry if they are in french):
Bitmap DIB (the one used by Inkscape ?)
Texte Unicode (contains the SVG tags)
Texte (contains the SVG tags)
Paramètres régionaux (binary data, not relevant here I think...)
Texte OEM (contains the SVG tags)
Bitmap (the one used by Inkscape ?)
Scalable Vector Graphics (I assume the one that should be used but the Windows Clipboard viewer doesn't allow me to preview its content)
To resume: Inkscape should use the "Scalable Vector Graphics" field when SVG mimetypes are not found in the clipboard.
I imagine the work to do is very easy as soon as it's just dealing with an alias of SVG mimetypes, but I'm not able to compile Inkscape for Windows (I will have to look if the Linux clipboard works the same way).
