eps export changes one side open rectangle into closed rectangle

When I draw a rectangle with an open end on the right side like "C" using pen tool and then export the file in Encapsulated Postscript level 3 format, the eps file gives a closed rectangle like "O".

Version: Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819
OS: Windows 7

To avoid the bug in the current version, draw a line back on the same line instead of terminating the line at the end point.
