Copying/Moving text spans orphans them

Bug Description

I have an svg, imported from pdf, with a large number of text objects.
After pdf export, it seems that the text style attributes are associated with each text span, rather than the text object itself. So when using the find tool to select all text objects by style, it selects all these tspan objects, rather than text objects.
When I cut/paste them, or move them to another layer, they do get moved, but the associated text objects do not get copied/moved, so the text spans become orphaned.

It would probably be good if the text nodes get copied along with the tspan nodes; or if at leas there's some sort of warning.
