I work with MACOS in Imac Intel Core 10.4. Tiger operative system.
With inkscape 0.46.
i only can work with mouse. keyboard unable.
X11 installed, version 2.0 2003-2007.

When I open X11, appears a window with this text: bash-3.2$(equal to symbol of dollar)

It's urgent.

Did you test
- with default (new) Inkscape preferences
- without tablet connected
- with a different (or new) user account

and now by filing a bug report against an old release of Inkscape (0.46 from April 2008) running on a no longer supported version of Mac OS X (Apple stopped providing updates for Mac OS X Tiger when it released Snow Leopard in August 2009) with a version of X11 installed which - to the best of my knowledge, based on the provided version information - was not built for that version of Mac OS X (see comments in the 'Answers' section).

Even if it could be somehow determined to be a bug in Inkscape 0.46 itself or in the packaging of Inkscape 0.46-3 for Mac OS X Tiger (intended to be used with Apple's X11 v1.1.3), and not a misconfiguration of the local system, there will be no more updates or bug-fix releases of Inkscape 0.46. No one has volunteered to provide Tiger Universal or Intel builds of later releases, so testing whether the issue persists in later releases or current trunk is not an option either.

IMHO it does not not make much sense to keep this new bug report open.
