Aligning is not affected by bounding box mode change

Bug Description

Inkscape version - 0.48.2

Platfoms checked:
 - Ubuntu (Kubuntu)
 - Windows

Description:
Switching BB mode from Visual to Geometric does not affect Align and distribute command.

How to reproduce:
1. Switch to Geometric BB mode
2. Draw a circle (or any object)
3. Duplicate object and move aside
4. Make stroke for one of the objects thicker
5. Try to align them by any edge
6. Result: objects alignded as in Visual BB mode
