Bug Description
When I press a shorcut to open some dialog in inkscape 0.48.2 (e.g. CTRL+SHIFT+A for the arrange distribute dialog), the dialog opens. It would be nice if the dialog closed when the shortcut is hit again.
Why?
1) When I want to quickly close the dialog again, I don't have to search for the ultra-mini x button with the mouse
2) When I hit CTRL-W to close the dialog, it has to be active. When the inkscape window is active instead, the document is closed (provided it has been saved), which is pretty annoying.
3) You can quickly choose /which/ dialog of the opened ones you want to close without using the mouse (provided you know its shortcut).
So, in summary, I propose to keep the CTRL-W shortcut working like it is currently plus to add the functionality to close a dialog when it is shown and its corresponding shortcut is hit.
