Bug Description
A linked image has width and height XML attributes in the SVG file. However these are not synced based on changes in the linked image. I'm unsure if they should be synced.
To reproduce:
- link a PNG image of, say, width 100x100 pixels
- save svg, notice that XML says width="100" and height="100"
- change PNG file to e.g. 120x120 pixels
- load up svg
- re-save or similar
- notice that XML still says the old size.
I realize this might be intentional though, but I did not easily find any claims to the contrary.
Thanks for a nice product!

I don't agree that this is a duplicate of bug #688658:
Bug #688658 requests a missing feature in the UI, this report however is about Inkscape not properly implementing the SVG 1.1 specification.
