Bug Description

Hi,

if an image object has a width/height ratio other than the image it consists and the attribute preserveAspectRatio is missing, inkscape uses a wrong default value.

The Specs say (see http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/struct.html#ImageElement )

„If attribute ‘preserveAspectRatio’ is not specified, then the effect is as if a value of xMidYMid meet were specified. ”

but inkscape behaves as if 'none' was specified, i.e. it scales the image into the viewport and breaks the images aspect ratio.

regards
