Bug Description

Saving to a PDF + Latex as described by http://blogs.ethz.ch/kowalski/2011/10/05/inkscape-and-latex does not keep the text color. All Latex text will be black.

The Latex output does support color; the \color[rgb]{0,0,0} commands can be edited manually.

Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819

1) Please add information about your OS/platform and Inkscape version (see Inkscape menu 'Help > About Inkscape').
2) Could you attach sample SVG file(s) where the color of text objects in Inkscape is ignored when saving a copy as 'PDF+LaTeX'?

The issue is that the color of the text object itself _is_ actually 'black' (if selected in Inkscape with the select tool, the style indicator in the lower left corner shows 'black') and only a portion of the text (inside a <tspan> element) has the 'red' fill color (assigned by highlighting the text within the text tool context and changing the color for the highlighted text only).

ISTM that the fill/stroke style of individual portions of a text object (style attribute of a <tspan>) is not supported when exporting to PDF+LaTeX and only the style attribute of the parent <text> object is considered.

OK, then it actually works if all text within the same text object should have the same color.

To help anyone else potentially having this problem in the future, I am attaching an SVG to show the difference.

I've found the export to pdf+latex feature very nice, though this error is a bit annoying.
I solved it by using \textcolor{desired color}{text} in Inkscape, but I don't see this as a good solution.
Amongst others it requires importing of the color package in LaTeX
