error in loading emf file with russian symbols

confirmed on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.48.2
I believe this has been fixed in trunk at rev 10045.
attached is the result I get from Inkscape build 10627
- unfortunately I am not sure where to get recent builds since the link to modevia appears to be gone:

Yes, modevia is gone, and not going to return [1]. Uwesch offered to host the latest devel builds for Windows at his personal site for now (also listed on the official download page [2]):

this was fixed as part of Bug 612882, since wmf and emf input are handled by the same code in Windows.

there was a remaining problem with these files: some dotted lines were missing entirely. A patch for this has been committed to bzr rev 10670.

- it shows the dotted lines as expected

- re-opening the report due to a recent regression, most likely related to bzr rev 12488
