Bug Description
discovered in r10600
environment -> Ubuntu Natty 32, Compiz 0.8.6, Ubuntu Classic
to reproduce this visual bug :
1) select text tool and type some characters
2) delete some characters with Backspace key
3) -> the bug consist in the fact that we can observe deleted characters on the same place
...Zoom in and Out to clear those visual glitches.
4) repeat step 2 place cursor in the between characters then use Delete key
..visual glitches are present but in a different form
for a short idea check attached image
