Unable to save when path has (dot) .

When saving as file to default .svg format into a path with dot and spaces in it. (+ my XP has setting that hide known file types extension enabled)
the extensions is not written into a file and after you press save, gives error "No Inkscape extension found to save document (D:\_myfolder\mysiteaa.com - Company\photos and files\tereasdasdasdtest). This may have been caused by an unknown filename extension."

Linking as duplicate to Bug #408566 “Program won't save files without given extension on Win32” (see comment #10). Please add a comment here and revert the duplicate status if you don't agree and think these are different issues.
