Bug Description

In trunk-r10589, many icons are corrupted.
Please see attached screenshot.
trunk-r10587 is no problem.

Versions and platform:
gtk 2.24.5
gtkmm 2.24.2
gcc 4.6.1
on Arch Linux (x86_64)

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48+devel r10589 on Mac OS X 10.5.8 (i386)

The latest changes [1] appear to result in incorrect (visual and geometric) bounding boxes of groups which contain clones.
Easily verifiable by opening the shared icons file and selecting individual icons (groups) in r10589.

Selection bounding box of groups containing other (nested) groups with preserved transforms is also incorrect (not limited to clones) - mainly affects the tango icon set.

There was a typo in the bounding box calculation for groups. Fixed in 10595.
