Bug Description
open a new document, create a standard perfect circle (ie circle ratio 1:1 generated holding down control).
duplicate circle and then move the duplicate horizontally (again using control to move the circle so its exactly in line with the original.
select both circles and then click object to path
then try to use the Extensions > Generate from Path > Interpolate.. feature and it does not work
Tried with version 0.48 with both OSX Snow Leopard and Win XP with all latest updates

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.1, fixed in current trunk and upcoming bug fix release 0.48.2.
To work around the issue, nudge both paths (after converting the circles to path) with the arrow keys up and down again (to trigger a path rewrite which will flatten the preserved transformation), or convert the duplicated ellipse to a path _before_ moving it aside.
