Text obejcts always align to lower one, overriding "Relative to:" selection

With two regular text objects created somewhere on canvas turn on Align and Distribute dialog. Texts should be of different Y values (one higher then other). No matter what is selected in "Relative to:" dropdown combo, hitting align to text baseline, always aligns "upper" object to lower.

This happens on custom built rev:10536 on Ubuntu Linux 11.04 amd64.
