Bug Description

Inkscape 0.48.1, Windows XP SP3
---
I was unable to get rotation working as expected with the Tiled Clone tool.
Even simple cases like can be seen on this page - http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Tiles-
Rotation.html - would fail, except in cases where I started from a clean new document.
After a several attempts, I noticed that it occured only when working on a document whose height has been modifed.

Steps to reproduce the bug:
1) Create a new document
2) Modify the height to eg. 24cm.
3) Create a rectangle
4) Create Tiled Clones: using a simple P1 symmetry tiling with default settings except: 10 rows x 10 columns, and Angle: 16° per row & column.
Here the result should be incorrect (see the attached screenshot).

To get what would be the expected result, reproduce the same steps than above but without step 2).

Workaround:
I think this bug could be linked to the translate() attribute of the layer the object is on.
So in the XML editor, select the Layer node and remove its translate() attribute. You'll probably have to move the object back to its original location. The Tiled Clone rotation should work properly now.

Another workaround: after resizing the page, create a new layer, move the original tile to the new layer and create the 'Tiled clones' on the new layer.
