Gradient editor panel dialog is not resizing properly

MacOSX 10.6.7, Inkscape 0.48+devel r10217
Resizing the gradient editor panel dialog is not behaving as expected. The dialog box redrawing is heavily lagging behind the mouse dragging.

I'm not sure I understand what it is about. Is it still an issue with the new gradient tool?

Testing in 0.48.2 version...
Everything is ok in this version! The issue in no more ;)

The issue was appearing in that devel version I guess.

The version used to file this report:

How come? 0.48.2 is older than 0.48+devel r10217.

@JazzyNico: Extension dialogs which include this widget are not effected because AFAICT the color selection widget doesn't scale along if the height of the extensions dialog is changed - the widget seems to be wrapped in a container with fixed height (independent of the dialog height).
The 'Fill & Stroke' dialog as well as the gradient editor (still accessible via context menu of custom swatches in the 'Auto'-palette) behave differently: if the height of the dialog increases, the color wheel scales along (independent of whether its notebook page is visible or not) and at some point the diameter of the larger wheel forces the width of the dialog itself to expand as well. Reducing the size of the dialog again is annoyingly slow.

This effect might not be easily reproducible on netbooks with small screen heights (it is more noticeable if dialogs have room to expand vertically).

I understand now. The word "gradient" in the title mislead me.
It's indeed reproducible on Windows XP, Inkscape trunk revision 11654.
