runtime error in pattern along path

When I try to run a shapes in pattern along path it crashes. If the image is big in display size this always happens. I am using windows 64bit.

Not reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.48.1.
Could you please attach a svg file that triggers the bug?

seems to happen intermittently and it has only happen to one specific
image.Also the image was zoomed in and had effects running. So removing or
hiding effects shouldnt show these kinds of issues.
