Bug Description
Inkscape version 0.48
OSes: Linux Mint Julia and Ubuntu 10.04
I have two SVGZ files (created in Inkscape) stored on a remote machine (Linux Mint Julia), and I transfer them via ssh to my local machine (Ubuntu 10.04), and I can't open them within the GNOME gui (double-click, open with both fail with the error message "Failed to load the requested file MYFILE."
When I fire up BASH in gnome-terminal I can issue
$ inkscape MYFILE
and it works without issue.
Also of interest is that the file, when saved locally, gets saved to a locally mounted NFS.
I was kinda hoping the CLI command would fail and leave me some debugging information!
Thanks!
Mike
