--export-dynamic is no longer ignored, maybe it should be removed altogether instead of prefixing it with "-Wl,"...

AFAICT the proposed changes in your patch are part of the larger patch provided in bug #707205 (which was committed to Inkscape trunk already). The issue with '--export-dynamic' is not fully addressed yet IMHO (especially for platforms which don't use a GNU ld) - see also the link to inkscpape-devel in the comments of bug #707205.

@Emil - Thanks very much for the patch. I will make a note of this in bug #707205 so that the developers can compare your patch with the currently-accepted solution
