Bug Description

Currently Inkscape changes mouse pointer's to Color picker's one when you temporarily switch from current tool to Color picker by pressing D. A user pointed out that it would improve UI consistency if mouse pointer was automatically changed to Gradient editor's one when you edit gradients with currently active shape editing tool (rectangle, ellipse, star etc).

As noted by same user, same applies to editing rectangles in ellipse editing mode etc.

IMHO the comparison to the color picker is not consistent: when using the color picker, you are actually switching tools, including the tool controls bar + context - it is not that just the cursor symbol changes. In my understanding, introducing some special cases would break the current concept of tool-specific cursors (i.e. bound to using the tool itself: having the tool's options displayed in the tool controls bar, as well as tool-specific shortcut keys|modifiers and status line messages in effect).

More related to the proposal (change cursor symbol when node-editing a gradient within another tool context) would be the existing cases of using different cursor symbols within the same tool context e.g. in the node tool when hovering over a curve - showing the hand symbol to indicate that curve can be dragged - or in the tweak tool - indicating the selected tweak mode.
