Thanks for all the responses. Truly enlightening and it does appear the
roadmap does not clearly state all of this. Yes QT4 is not a magic bullet. I
have full understanding of such and ample experience in developing software
and managing the development of such to understand the port to QT4 will not
address the issues.

So how about I join the dev team and lend a hand? I'm more than willing to.
