filters not correctly exported

I made a box, added a fill color and a stroke color. Then I applied the filters "bevel/button" and "bevel/pressed steel" in that order. The resulting .svg has been attached.

To export, I draw a translucent box around my blue box and export the selection. I give more than enough room to encompass my blue box.

Bug: The exported image looks clipped around the edges.

I will attach inkscape's export and also the desired correct output.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.0 and 0.48+devel r9914 on OS X 10.5.8

Workaround: don't merge the filters, apply one filter, group the filtered object and apply the second filter to the group. This keeps the filter effect regions of each filter effect intact. Note that in your exmaple on-canvas, the filter effects region is too small too (cutting off the outer parts of the 'Pressed steel' effect).

In my eyes there is no difference between viewport and exported png.
