Bug Description
Inkscape 0.48.0 and 0.48+devel (r9873 at the moment I fill this bug)
I reproduced every time the following bug sent here on Inkscape Forum : http://
While the filters "Cracked lava" and "Eroded metal" of the same origin (an using the same kind of primitives) are showing the same level of details at different resolutions (I tried 90, 150 and 300 DPI), which I think correspond to SVG standard, the filter "Enamel jewelry" shows an increased level of fractal details when you increase the bitmap export resolution.
The same is true when you create a bitmap copy and when you export in PDF.
Despite it can be considered as a bug at this stage it could lead to a very interesting feature if all filters had the same behavior and if other filters display rendering resolution were available. I think particularly at the future, when SVG will become more compatible with printing.
