Bug Description

A colleague can open this with the last release of 0.47

My setup:
Inkscape 0.48.0 r9654
Windows XP SP3

Assertion Failed!

Confirmed on WIndows Vista, Inkscape 0.47 and 0.48.
Not reproduced with 0.46.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48+devel r9749 on OS X 10.5.8

Console message:
