node editing a clipping mask appears offset

Attached SVG shows that editing a clipping mask with the node tool makes the control points appear offset to the left and top as the attached screenshot illustrates.

@Krzysztof - was bug #351281 incorrectly marked 'Fix released' or is this a regression in you code?
«The only way a mask/clip can become misaligned in the new tool is when you move the clipped object, turn on clip editing, and then undo.» does not seem the case here - the handles of clip-path are offset after recreating the clip too (release it, move both objects and clip them again), and also when clipping with a newly drawn clip-path - no 'Undo' involved.

Possibly related to change of page size/orientation (top-level layer has a 'transform' attribute).

Still present in 0.91 and 0.91+devel r13969

AFAICT the clip-path editing feature of the node tool neither handles preserved transforms on the clipped object, nor transforms on the parent container (layer, group) correctly if shapes are used as clip-path.

Seemingly the same (or a closely related) issue is also exposed with new default templates in 0.91+devel which set a different drawing scale via viewBox element: the position and scale of a shape used as clip-path is wrong when using the node tool to edit it.

Hi, thanks for reporting. Closing as fixed in 1.0 (still present in 0.92.x). Going through launchpad bugs as part of the bug migration effort (https://alpha.inkscape.org/bug-migration/).

fixed by Inkscape 0.92+devel (bc776cf2ee, 2017-11-03), was fixed earlier than that
