Bug Description
Mid markers on paths are rendered one per node, ignoring the start and end nodes of a path, but I'm encountering problems in how Inkscape (0.48) is rendering them.
Have attached a sample SVG where I noticed the problem.
- Red object (left) - Displays a mid marker at the start/end node of this path.
- Yellow object (top) - Correct (8 nodes, 7 mid markers)
- Green and blue objects - Start/end nodes of each subpath are actually displaying two markers apiece.

Bug #403445 “polygons with mid markers show 1 too many [Regression]”:
<https:/
Issue is solved for paths closing with a straight line segment (no redundant 'z' segment closing the path) in Inkscape 0.48, but still exists for closed curved paths ('z' connects the coinciding start and end node).
