7 segment font not shown in list.

I recently installed a dulax font for a led clock type and also the 7 segment font linked below.

The dulax shows up fine, the 7 segment however does not. I did install the dulax before inkscape, so I tried installing 7 segment on a different pc first then inkscape, stilll does not show up.

I also tried deleting the windows/system32/fntcache.dat file and rebooting.

not reproduced with Inkscape 0.47 and 0.47+devel r9384 on OS X 10.5.8

The font '7 segment' is listed in Inkscape's font selector and seems correctly rendered on-canvas.
The OS X font-manager however does not fully validate the font: it reports a minor problem with 'name' table usability.

IMHO this is likely an issue with the font backend used on Windows - do you have additional information why this would not be related to the Windows port of Inkscape?

I did forget to mention, that the font automatically appears in the list for word.

I just installed a similar font called myblueroom, which installed fine. I still believe its an issue with inkscape + 7 segment font.

Confirmed on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.47 and bzr rev.9369.
The font shows correctly with OpenOffice.

possibly related to / duplicate of bug #165665

(the glyphs dialog in the development builds doesn't list the available glyphs as expected, similar to the symbol fonts Wingdings and Webdings* as seen in bug #555557, but the symbols are used when writing text directly on-canvas with the text tool)

Reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.48.2.
Not reproduced with trunk revision 10938.
