Bug Description
Many sections in Preferences have a button which copies the style from the selected object to preferences. But those buttons are enabled even if there is no selection to copy a style from. This could lead to a crash. You should disable the button and (preferably) show a tooltip explaining the problem.
There is a special case here. Suppose you are in the font section and have a rectangle selected. Seeing as it has been proposed that the font "Take From Selection" button copy the font info too, this case could be a problem. In that case, you would need to either leave the font info unchanged or treat the selection as invalid (and display a message about the problem).
