OTF font won't display, always replaced by 'Sans'

Bug Description
I've just installed OTF-files of the Thesis typeface family. They work perfectly in all other applications, and show up fine in the 'Text and font' preview of Inkscape 0.47 on Windows 7.
But when I try to use them for text, it defaults to 'Sans'. Any ideas? :)
