Bug Description
Feature request for a quick way to hide/lock objects, as this is something I do a LOT - particularly as a mechanism to drag-select groups of objects which are in the middle of an overlapping area of other objects. There are two distinct parts to this request:
1. To be able to do it quickly/easily - as through a direct menu item and/or keyboard shortcut. This is opposed to having to open the object selection dialog, click the checkbox(es), and "set".
2. To be able to do it for MULTIPLE objects at the same time, and/or for GROUPS of objects. As of 0.47, you cannot apply to multiple objects like this through the "Object Properties" box.
imho needs an accompanying feature to selectively *unhide* or *unlock* individual or multiple objects/groups (e.g. see also bug #167506 “Too easy to lock/hide a group object after entering it”)
