Bug Description

I created this file in Inkscape 0.47... everything went fine.

But then, when I try to open the file again, Inkscape just crashes or hangs.

Note that I *did* use Inkscape's Schema tool, and I may have adjusted some of the pieces manually... but everything seemed to be fine while I was doing it.

I have tried to open this file on Windows and Linux, both with 0.47. On windows it crashes with this error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Inkscape\inkscape.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

On Linux, Inkscape just hangs, using all of the CPU, until I kill it.

Possibly same issue as reported in

suv, you are right. The crash is related to the ordering of the objects. I edited the SVG in a text editor and moved that 'text' object before the objects that reference it. The file opens now without crashing.

This will serve as a (very crude) workaround for the moment. Also, I will avoid making references (like Linked Offsets) until this bug is fixed.
