Bug Description
I am using the new Inkscape 0.47 on MacOS X Snow Leopard 10.6.2 with XQuartz 2.3.4, and it appears that copying then pasting objects just doesn't work. Cut does seem to work, so I assume that Copy also works. It is probably just the Paste function that has a problem.

I figured it out. The problem was related to X11's pasteboard option. Nothing related to Inkscape, and nothing new. Sorry for the inconvenience.
