Bug Description
Hi,
It would be great of GTK/Quartz could be integrated into the Inkscape .app build for Mac OSX. This would allow Inkscape to be run without the need for starting X11.
It would increase the file size, but I believe for many users not having X11 running would be a great benefit. You can find an example of an Inkscape build that does this here (although its not currently running on my version of OSX):

There's also a Gimp example that might be useful to:

Thanks,
James

The examples at <http:// www.flyn. org/apple/ index.html> make no mention of including *both* versions in one and the same application bundle (AFAIU this isn't possible). The site also emphasizes that "GTK's Quartz backend is currently experimental, so this package is also unstable". The request to provide packages built with gtk-osx has been filed several times already.
