Interestingly, trying to load a second (renamed) copy of liblcms indeed fails (without a crash, but that's probably due to the use of LoadLibrary vs. "normal" dll loading), while several other dll's show no problems when being loaded twice. Also, the version of liblcms that Hugh pointed to above does not show this problem. So perhaps there is something wrong with the way our liblcms was compiled or something. I'll see if anyone on the mailing list objects to exchanging our liblcms for the one Hugh pointed to (or simply compiling a new version ourselves).
