function request: aligning shortcuts & guides removal tool

Hello.

I use Inkscape in my daily professional work.

I think that Inkscape should have some enhancements for productivity.

Often used things are an aligning and guides.

1) It would be magic if there are shortcuts for objects aligning like in CorelDraw (C, E, T, D, L, R buttons). Mentioned keys are not neccessary. It would be beautiful and simple.

2) In recent versions of Inkscape it is hard to remove a number of guides. I use "Guides creator" extension for this. It would be simplier if there is menu item, say, in "Edit" menu near "Guides Around Page" or somewhere in "Guides" tab of "Document Properties" dialogue.

Thank you very much! Inkscape is so great and I don't think my projects without it.

1) The keyboard shortcuts are customizable since Inkscape 0.44:

As long as no verbs are defined for the different actions in the 'Align and Distibute…' dialog they can't be assigned any shortcuts, unfortunately.

Closing - both features had been implemented in trunk at some point, and will be available in the next major release (0.91).
