Inkscape needs prevent info loosing on crash (restore or save every x minutes)

Inkscape crashes from time to time,
and it is terribly anoying if one looses its several hours work :/

Inkscape needs prevent info loosing on crash:
1) restore functionality
2) or save every x minutes

for example http://www.kdenlive.org/ crashes quite often,
but it restores the project file nicely

for other example OpenOffice.org also has some restore feature,
and also ability to save the work every x minutes.

2) The Autosave feature is already implemented in SVN and will be available in the upcoming Inkscape 0.47 release.
