Stable version does not start, after having run the 0.47 version

The stable inkscape used to run just fine on my machine.
After running 0.47 development version, I can now only run the dev version, no longer the stable one.
I tried removing ~/.inkscape but that did not help.
The stable one refuses to start, and gives me this in the log:

duplicate of bug #400165: “Binary Inkscape dist crashes when MacPorts is installed”?

fix: edit the 'Contents/Resources/etc/fonts/fonts.config' file inside the 0.46 application bundle and remove the line

  <cachedir>/opt/local/var/cache/fontconfig</cachedir>

Besides the issue with '~/.fontconfig' (bug #205542: “Inkscape 0.46-1 for OS X won't start”), can we close this report as duplicate of bug #400165: “Binary Inkscape dist crashes when MacPorts is installed”?
