Adapting the page size to a drawing is slow

Bug Description

The attached sample drawing consists of a single group with roughly 19000 elements. Adapting the page size to fit the drawing (file -> document settings -> Seite in Auswahl anpassen) takes about 45 sec on my 1.7GHz notebook. This seems like a lot for something that I would expect to be basically a computation of the bounding box, even considering the number of elements.

When doing this, the origin will also move relatively to the selection if I'm not mistaken. So all objects need to move, it's not just moving the page border and keeping everything else stationary. So it's a bit more complex than it might seem at first sight, but nevertheless speed could always be improved of course!
