drag'n'drop does not work with Qt application under Windows

Bug Description

I have written a Qt application which creates an image from input data. I have implemented a drag-n-drop routine from the standard Qt library. I can drag my image (for example) to MS Word without any problem. But I can neither drag my image from my application to Inkscape, nor can I do it from Word to Inkscape.

For drag'n'drop data transfer Qt uses the MIME format, which Inkscape seemingly does not accept as drop data.

Is this still an issue with current stable Inkscape 0.91?

The report was filed two months before the release of Inkscape 0.47 (on 2009-11-24)
Inkscape 0.47 added support for the system-wide clipboard:
