Bug Description

I'm using Inkscape 0.46 with Ubuntu 9.04 and an HP3600N printer printing over the network.
Printer seems to be fine printing from open office and all other programs I have tried.
the printer just prints Unrecoverable error: configurationerror in setpagedevice
also an ioerror once. The job status goes to idle stopped and a RIP error.
the printer trouble shooting log is attached.

Third report involving an HP printer since June (not sure they are exactly similar).
See #395951 and #382536.

ya, I looked at both of them and they could be related, near as I can tell they are using different drivers.

I did get it to print just a plain circle, and changing page size/orientation does have an affect, It seems to always print two pages.

I think the most relevant part of log are these lines. but don't know what to make of them.

I posted the same question to HPLip and they say

David Suffield proposed the following answer:
Well, the DEVICEWITHPOINTS and DEVICEHEIGHTPOINTS (paper size) in the gs
command are bogus. This will cause hpijs to fail. Most likely this is
caused by bad postscript or foomatic-rip.

So... now how do I check the postscript and/or the foomatic-rip?
