Bug Description
Version 0.47pre0 on Mac OS X 10.5.7
I wasn't completely right the first time. Here we go again:
When copying and pasting an object (shape, text, whatever) the normal way (ctrl-c, ctrl-v), it seems like a bitmap is inserted instead of a copy of the object. All color/gradient attributes seem to be lost (the inserted thing looks the same, but I cannot change color/gradient attributes). Copied text is not editable anymore and rendered anti-aliased as opposed to the original text.
Additionally, all tranparency information is lost (the whole rectangle surrounding the pasted shape/text is opaque).

This is a known issue with recent versions of X11/XQuartz. Please see <http:// wiki.inkscape. org/wiki/ index.php/ FAQ#Copying_ and_pasting_ in_Inkscape_ creates_ pixellated_ images_ instead_ of_copying_ the_vector_ objects> for a work around.
